Fisher - Scientist Partnership
We will develop a fisher-scientist network that will encourage engagement of the fishing industry with the scientific process and disseminate knowledge and research results back to industry and stakeholders.
Work to be undertaken includes:
- Recording implementation data
- Development of a fisher-scientist network which will consist of fishers, scientists and other stakeholder representatives who will meet once a year to discuss the progress of fisheries projects in Wales, report and discuss any new scientific needs, raise concerns and discuss ways to increase awareness and engagement
- Dissemination of information and increased engagement
